- This research led to the development of ‘Optika’: an optical rehabilitation software assessment tool to enable clinical research on the rehabilitation of stroke patients at the Salford Brain and Spinal Unit (https://www.strath.ac.uk/rkes/fly/opticalkinematicsanalysisforrehabilitation/, contact: BodyBASIC). The research was a key reference in securing a £56k University of Strathclyde Capita Strategic Technology Partnership studentship (CAPITA contribution £13k). It also led to the NVIDIA corporation donating a £2.5k Titan XP GPU graphics card to support further research at Strathclyde.
