- This paper impacts the state of the art through demonstrating the efficacy of using a hybrid machining process in turning hard-to-machine aerospace-grade alloy. It led to funding of an international collaboration with IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IISc Bangalore and the University of Oxford with several UK and India industrial partners. The project funding was over £1.2M (EP/K028316/1 & DST/RC-UK/14-AM/2012). It has also featured in a news article by New Zealand Engineering News (https://tinyurl.com/y9bghe8l).
