- The demonstration of multigigabit (3Gbit/s) transmission indicated that high data speeds were possible with low complexity lighting luminaires and associated hardware. This output was selected as a “Paper of Significance” at the IEEE Photonics Conference 2014 (https://www.osa.org/en-us/meetings/global_calendar/events/2014/ieee_photonics_conference_2014/) and resulted in a collaboration with PureLifi, who have recently completed a $18M Series B funding round.
