- This paper is an outcome of a research project with the Head of Laboratory for Imaging Genetics, Medical Imaging Research Center, KU Leuven and supported through a joint Cardiff University-KU Leuven grant established to foster the development of research links between the two Universities. This work demonstrates for the first time that facial traits categories produced by the automatic classification method based on geodesic path curvatures are more accurate in comparison to manual methods.
