- The paper stems from the invited participation of De Angelis at the MultiFlow summer school in Turbulence at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. The paper utilises Prof Javier Jimenez’s world largest Reynolds number dataset of turbulent channel flow to validate the theoretical analysis of De Angelis. The proposed mathematical framework provides an insight into the physics of wall turbulence, relevant to many practical engineering systems (eg. aerodynamics, turbomachinery).
