- This was one of the first articles showing that wind direction can also affect the power generation of solar photovoltaic integrated phase change material system and developed models to predict the performance. This work was part of Interreg 2 Seas funded project (2S04-004) ''SOLARISE''. The methods and models presented in this article have been adopted by Heat Transfer and Thermal Power Laboratory, IIT Madras in India to build/install a set up. This claim can be verified by contacting Prof K S Reddy (ksreddy@iitm.ac.in). The work has spurred further important study (Kumar et al., Journal of Energy Storage 32, 101876 (2020)).
