- The paper proposes a novel heuristic offloading decision algorithm HODA that reduces the challenging issue of remote resource bottleneck to a submodular maximization problem and proves its NP-hardness. HODA is shown to significantly outperform existing solutions, especially when the number of users increases. Published in the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, the paper has influenced the work of many researchers and is the 21st most cited paper out of 4395 (top 0.5%) published in this leading journal since 2017.
