- In this publication we build upon work by EPSRC EP/P004024/1, we take the state-of-the-art low-cost Compute Clusters and identify potential applications. This is significant as there is little or no examples of applied SBC clusters. We identify education and edge computing as two key areas of interest. This forms the basis of an Air Quality proposal (ESA, under review) which applies SBC to the edge of a sensor network to minimise network traffic.
