- This work presented the first decentralised resource discovery protocol for large scale many-core systems while it is among very early works proposed the idea of decentralised Cloud that has recently started to gain attention towards Internet/Cloud decentralisation. The work was one of the major outputs of the FP7 European Project Services Oriented Operating System (SoOS, FP7-ICT-2009.8.1 Grant Agreement No. 248465 with overall budget €2,936,818) aimed to generate a reference model for disturbed operating systems. The proposed ideas and approaches in the paper inspired some start-up companies such as Node Haven to start building decentralised Cloud solutions for business.
