- Additional information
- Mathematical and algorithmic solution to a previously unsolved geometric vision problem that enables automatically adding a new camera node to a calibrated camera network or a multi-view 3D reconstruction. It requires less prior information and smaller overlap between camera fields-of-view than previous state-of-the-art approaches. Method directly uses all available overlapping image features, bypassing any need for 3D scene reconstructions or calibration objects. Published in one of the most impactful computer vision journals.
