- Additional information
- In addition to her own essay (pp. 31-46), Corinne Saunders was a co-editor of this collection of thirteen essays. With the other editors she conceived and designed the volume, which originated in two co-convened conference panels, and explores the representation and role of emotions in the most influential medieval story matter, Arthurian romance, across six languages. Saunders’ interdisciplinary work on embodiment, emotions and cognition, and the connections between mind, body and affect, played a central part in shaping the volume, and informs the co-authored introduction, to which she contributed extensively. The co-editors shared the responsibilities of structuring and editing the volume, negotiating revisions of individual essays with each contributor, and copyediting.
