- This work provides a new paradigm for observer design for continuous-time systems with non-uniformly sampled measurements. It led to a keynote speech in the IEEE sponsored 3rd International Conference on Systems and Control (ICSC 2013), Algeria (http://lias.labo.univ-poitiers.fr/icsc/icsc2013/program.php). Based on this keynote, the authors were invited to write a book chapter in "Hybrid dynamical systems - Observation and Control", Springer, 2015 (ISBN-13: 978-3319107943). It also led to further academic collaboration resulting in a publication in Automatica (Farza et al, "Adaptive observers for a class of uniformly observable systems with nonlinear parametrization and sampled outputs", vol. 50, pp. 2951, 2014).
