- First research in Europe on new innovative and demountable shear connector for composite construction for the reuse of composite structures. Paper covered experimental testing, finite element modelling, parametric studies and comparison of design equations for the UK, Europe and America. This research led to two EPSRC funded projects (EP/N011201/1 and EP/P008917/1) and a RFCS funded project (RFCS-2015-710040) on reuse of composite construction.
