- Based on the novel network coding theory devised in 2003, optimisation of multicast network routing presents the new challenge of supporting secure and efficient telecommunication in fast-increasing applications. The significance of the work arises from new and best results which contribute not only to optimisation, but also efficient communication algorithms in information science. The work has attracted research attention in a wide range of related areas, including multimodal optimization problems, cloud resource optimisation, distributed systems, navigation, remote sensing, and software-defined networks.
