- This research proposes a modified novel heuristic bird mating optimizer algorithm for scheduling of microgrids with integration of renewable energy sources and energy storage systems. This work was supported in-part by Iran National Science Foundation and in-part by Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellowship under Grant DVF1617\6\45. The extension of the proposed concept in this research has been used for the submission of a British Academy Networking Grant GCRFNGR3\1541 which has been awarded in January 2019.
