- This paper introduces a novel network synchronisation technique for heterogeneous devices communicating using the Open Sound Control protocol. A robust evaluation method is established and complemented with a real-world acoustic localisation application. The research was funded by the European Regional Development Fund and has since been used in a range of products developed by x-io Technologies . The paper was shortlisted for best paper at the International Computer Music Conference.
