- This open access volume represents the proceedings of a major international conference organised by Gordon, Petridou, and Rüpke as part of the ERC-funded ‘Lived Ancient Religion’ (LAR) project. The volume was edited jointly by Gordon, Petridou and Rüpke. All three editors co-authored the introduction and were equally involved in the selection, peer reviewing and revision of the 15 papers included in it. Gordon and Petridou jointly undertook the copy-editing and proofreading of the revised papers. Petridou has a major contribution in the volume (Part II – third chapter) while Gordon produced the index rerum.
