- Andrew Doel's contribution to this paper is through having a major role in the building of the DECam camera used for the DES survey which he had designated builder status. Doel was the project lead on the DECam wide field corrector optics which were assembled, aligned and tested at UCL under his supervision. This work involved management, mechanical design, and testing analysis of the wide field corrector.
