- As part of a long term programme investigating the behaviour of deep beams, this paper developed a simplified analysis for the shear capacity prediction of continuous self-compacting concrete deep beams. It differs from most previous studies in that it examines realistic statically indeterminate deep beams rather than simply-supported ones. The paper assessed the applicability of EC2 and ACI-318 shear design provision for continuous self-compacting concrete deep beams.
