- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph draws on fieldwork conducted across two years in Egypt and Lebanon, and builds on a phenomenological sociological theoretical framework that itself took shape over a period of several years. The analysis presented in the empirical chapters is the result of detailed close-coding of interview transcripts, an iterative process that demanded more forensic attention than would be conventional for research published in the form of journal articles.
