- International collaboration between the University of Hertfordshire (UH), the University of Technology Sydney, Australia and Shenzhen University, China. The research was funded by the Australian Research Council under Grant DE160101032. UH are an international collaborator in the grant. The grant proposal benefited from 20 paper references and a book authored by Y Sun. As a result of the research a new passive only architecture and design of miniaturized microwave and millimeter-wave resonator and bandpass filter were implemented and significantly a silicon chip was fabricated and tested in 0.13-µm (Bi)-CMOS technology for applications in millimetre wave 5G transceiver frontends
