- This work has demonstrated that blends of lignin and bio-based polyamides can be processed to produce continuous precursor fibres for carbon fibre production. This work is part of a project consisting of a consortium of 14 industrial and academic partners, aiming to produce continuous carbon fibres from lignin - based precursor filaments using energy efficient processing technologies.
