- "This was the first publication on smell from an experiential perspective, and is cited by key experts including Maes, MIT [1], Olofsson, Stockholm [2], and Ranasinghe, Singapore [3]. The work also led to a research project with Jaguar Land Rover and a follow-up publication of a new method [4], which in turn led to a series of 7 follow-up publications (Dr Dmitrenko’s work [5]) on smell-based in-car interactions, as well as an Enterprise Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering (Dr Maggioni, [6]). Field-weighted citation impact 6.33 (Scopus).
