- Additional information
- This paper reports, for the first time, the full 3D characterization of a stress corrosion crack tip by atom probe tomography, achieving a true atomic analysis of the oxidation in this key region. It attracted sponsored collaborations from INSS (Leader of Material Technology Group, Institute of Nuclear Technology, Japan) and EDF (Expert on Corrosion, EDF R&D available to corroborate) and funding from EPSRC (EP/R009392/1).
