- This monograph is the first to explore the connection between the governance of natural resources and human rights. It demonstrates sustained research effort in offering the first in-depth examination of the issue of natural resources management from a human rights perspective, and setting out the substance of a human rights-based approach to the management, use and protection of natural resources. It extends this research to examine the interaction and potential impact of human rights law on other branches of law governing the management of natural resources.
