- Along with his co-editor Maria Rovisco, Peter Lunt developed and submitted a proposal for a Special Issue on Citizenship and Performance to the International Journal of Cultural Studies. The proposal reflects his long-standing research into performative aspects of mediated public communication. He reviewed and edited all six papers submitted and contributed a sole authored paper ‘The performance of power and citizenship: David Cameron meets the people’ (c. 6,940 words). Together, the editors also wrote a substantive introduction (c. 7,917 words) that reviewed the field and the key theoretical and conceptual debates in the relation between performance and citizenship.
