- This methodology has been successfully trialled in 8 industrial organisations across Europe and has resulted in a practical tool for developing business cases for investment in better information management (https://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/research/dial/tools-and-techniques/information-quality-risk-assessment-tool/). Scottish Water (contact details available) used this methodology in preparing a business case for justifying IT improvement projects. This work also helped obtain further research funding from the EPSRC Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (EP/K000314/1) for extending its applicability to civil infrastructure assets.
