- Security of Internet of Things (IoT) is paramount due to their extraordinary growth in application areas including critical infrastructures. This paper presented a novel intrusion detection framework for IoT, COLIDE, which leverages collaboration between IoT nodes and edge-routers to achieve effective protection against complex, multi-stage attacks such as botnets. The research published here has contributed to a successful DCMS funded project (Cyber Monitoring and Defence for IoT - CyMonD) securing £126,000 to pursue commercialization of this research.
