- Halluzination, Perspective, Synthese was a solo exhibition of three sound pieces by Florian Hecker, at Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna, 17 November 2017 – 14 January 2018.
The exhibition consisted of 3 works in total. Through their installation, Hecker transformed the exhibition space of the Kunsthalle into an immersive, resonating space.
Positioned in the centre of the main exhibition space was a work titled Resynthese FAVN, a multi-channel synthetic sound installation.
This sonic composition was a development of an earlier work by Hecker called FAVN, which had been commissioned by and presented at Alte Oper in Frankfurt in 2016.
The exhibition was accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with five commissioned essays. See Appendix, page 20.
