- First vertex centred finite volume centred implementation of large strain solid dynamics using mixed set of hyperbolic conservation laws. The work contributed to prestigious international awards to second and third authors (ECCOMASS Zienkiewicz Prize; and SEMNI prize respectively). Work has attracted considerable academic attention and led to many further developments by authors and others as well as further EU funding (Projects SEED and AdMoRe).
