- The foundations discussed in this paper enable the offshore energy sectors to make significant savings, thereby leading to their pervasive use of renewable energy and ultimately reduction of carbon emission. Based on this work, a patent application (No. 1819844.0) is registered and an ongoing collaboration between four major research institutes is established to understand and improve the performance of these foundations.
