- Paper presents a model of digital capability development in engineering consultancies. Arup used the findings in developing digitally competent engineers and in set-up and delivery of major projects (contact: FoEREF@ic.ac.uk). Research won best paper award at 2015 ‘International Research Network on Organising by Projects’ (IRNOP). It led directly to £1.4m new grants (EP/H02204X/1, RES-331-27-0076, Whyte, PI); Shimizu Visiting Professorship at Stanford; external advisor roles in major infrastructure projects (Crossrail, Tideway and HS2 (contacts for above three: FoEREF@ic.ac.uk) and policy roles including UK's Digital Framework Task Group.
