- Outcome of EPSRC project EP/I033173/1 that combines asymptotic analysis and numerical modelling to investigate laminar streak growth with the aim of delaying the transition to turbulence. The research was conducted with partners at the University of Sheffield and is a cornerstone of further collaborative research between the Universities of Aberdeen and Sheffield in this area. The work is also used by the groups of Skote (Cranfiel University) and Yuan (National University of Singapore) who also investigate drag reduction above spanwise oscillating walls.
