- Barnby’s contribution to data analytics is applied in the physics domain. This paper reconciles measurements in proton-proton and lead-lead collisions, that had been a longstanding source of theoretical speculation, gaining a large number of independent citations including some from model builders and text book authors. It was widely reported in the media (Altimetric: 99th percentile in articles of similar age) reaching various science outlets and general news sites, including e.g.Yahoo! News and Newsweek. The paper was highlighted in the PI track record which led to success in STFC research grant application, reference ST/V001094/1 (£95974)
