- The system described in this paper formed a key part of a file system virtualisation product developed at Docker Inc after the acquisition of the Computer Laboratory spin-out company Unikernel Systems. That product is now in use by millions of software developers worldwide. The software has been used in over 100 open source software packages and is in use at several other companies, including Citrix, Jane Street Capital, Cryptosense and Facebook.
