- This 2014 paper presents and evaluates a new method for soil structure quantification and validates the approach by comparing to other methods. The method presented offers a good trade-off between efficiency in terms of computational requirements and robustness of approach. The findings of the paper facilitates the appropriate selection of thresholding technique considering time and quality factors. These findings are used by other research groups to aid selection of thresholding method.
