- Double-weighted statement
- At 60,000 words, British Television Animation 1997-2010 maps a previously neglected history of animated narratives produced for UK television. It was completed over a four-year period. It includes exclusive interviews with established practitioners and writers, and archival research drawn from the BFI and BBC Caversham. Other methods include a comprehensive study of contemporary reviews and scheduling information, analysis of animation and comedy debates, and primary textual analysis of key animation texts, many of which have been hitherto unavailable commercially and unseen since broadcast.
