- This book is the first to investigate, explain and appraise the novel concept of African union law. It covers a diverse and complex range of continental norms and standards and rigorously analyses and organises these into a coherent whole. The critical insights are developed through a sustained analysis applying and testing the development of the legal order across a range of areas. The work is informed by an extensive analysis of various primary sources of law including case law and quasi-judicial decisions at the regional level.
