- This output is a book (300 pages) which required several years of research to produce, incorporating both field research and significant comprehensive desk research of primary and secondary literature. It introduces a novel conceptual framework to analyse mass atrocity response. This framework is complex, entailing three concurrent lines of areas of investigation (military intervention, international criminal justice, humanitarian action) which were applied to four in-depth case studies. This resulted in 12 specific lines of analysis which were then integrated with each other within each case, resulting in a complex and nuanced analysis.
