- ‘The Building of Civil Europe 1951-1972’ (318-pages) required spending an extensive period of time in the European archives in Florence and Brussels. None of the material (documents, brochures, photographs and speeches) had been digitised or even catalogued in the way it was used in this book. Over 4,000 pages of documents and 400 official speeches in French, English and German were identified, retrieved and analysed. Moreover, this project involved tracking down over 60 never accessed documentaries/films produced by the European Community, having them digitised by the European audio-visual archives and obtaining an exclusive permission for analysis.
