- This monograph deals with a single theme ” the biofictional reading of Roman poetry ” from different perspectives and contexts. The primary book-length output of the major ERC-funded 'Living Poets' project, it tackles a large and complex body of material in a variety of languages from a broad range of different time periods, from the ancient to the modern. While the extensive introduction and five chapters build up an interrelated picture, had they been published separately, they would have produced 6 self-standing articles.
