- The significance of this paper is highlighted by the results of two blind tests organised by two international major conferences in 2019 for modelling floating wave energy converters, where the predicted results obtained with the model developed in this paper were the most accurate. The paper led to invitations to deliver keynote addresses at two conferences/workshops, and new international research collaborations with researchers in China and UK, including City University of London, and Harbin Engineering University, China.
