- The paper introduced the new concept of sketched finite element analysis to allow real-time, in-situ simulation and uncertainty quantification of large-scale engineering models. The implementation of this research is being considered for demonstration in a pilot study in collaboration with Queen’s Belfast at Seagate’s manufacturing plant [Seagate contact available] and in Hunrai’s new optical device [Hunrai contact available].
