- Double-weighted statement
- I request double-weighting for "(B)ordering Britain: Law, Race and Empire". The book is the result of sustained research taking place over several years. It required in-depth research into the complexities of the UK’s colonial history, and its impact on Commonwealth countries and colonies. This was complicated by the need to interrogate the means by which this history has been repressed or seemingly erased. Time consuming work was needed to relate this to immigration law, highlighting its continuity with this concealed past. The breadth of work is recognised by the praise received for the book from a wide range of commentators.
