- This paper was published at VLDB, a top-tier venue in the broad field of data management (acceptance rate 2015-2020 17.5%), and arose through a collaboration with IBM Research T.J. Watson. It proposes the first edge computing platform for compute-intensive stream processing that can harness the resources of multiple IoT devices while remaining resilient against wireless network dynamicity. The paper has resulted in new and ongoing collaborations with King's College London on privacy-preserving edge computing (EdgeSys '20).
