- This collaboration with Cambridge University gained worldwide attention after an article in ‘The Conversation’ was republished online by Smithsonian Magazine, and was reprinted in the UK ‘I’ newspaper. The paper was funded for open access by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and was featured on local ABC TV news in the USA. Authors also presented the work at the keynote ‘President’s Address’ at the British Science festival. A Key impact of the work is that the platform has been successfully adopted and is still being used by Tejon Indian tribe and the Wind wolves preserve in their education programs.
