- Double-weighted statement
- This single-authored monograph makes a significant contribution to our understanding of the social and political role of religion in contemporary schooling. The book meets the criteria for double-weighting as a longer-form output demonstrating sustained research effort. It presents critical insights and arguments pertaining to the place of religion in education and wider society through rigorous analysis of two contrasting and in-depth case studies and the adoption of a child-centred perspective. The book reflects the generation of an extended and complex piece of original, ethnographic research, and the collection and analysis of a large body of primary data from multiple stakeholders.
