- This work was the result of an initial collaboration with Prof. P. Evans (University of Sheffield) with support from the British Heart Foundation. The collaboration identified an intervention to promote endothelial repair in stented arteries and helped an investigator receive the Young Investigator of the Year award by the European Society of Cardiology. The success of the multidisciplinary approach taken led to continued multidisciplinary work and resulted in further studies in Thromb Haemost 2016; 116(01): 181-190 and Phys. Rev. E 94, 023306.
