- This paper presents an original pioneering work which solves an industrial problem where overlapping of activates in the product development process is an issue. The paper proposes a conceptual method which has been developed with the collaboration of industries and has gained recognition in in industrial application (ref: Parkins Engine, contact person Richard Weeks Weeks_Richard@perkins.com). Key authors of the paper have received the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship award from the University of Huddersfield to peruse further research on this topic, to exploit deeper collaboration with the collaborating with engineering companies.
