- Wyke’s research contribution to the collection The Novel of Neronian Rome & its Multimedial Transformations (OUP, 2020) comprises her single-authored chapter and the co-authored introduction. Woźniak wrote the section of the introduction that concerns Sienkiewicz’s place in Polish culture, and Wyke wrote the surrounding sections on the significance of the volume as a manifestation of Poland’s contribution to the popular image of Nero and as the groundwork for a better understanding of how the reception of antiquity operates in popular culture. Wyke also robustly edited all the other chapters (both linguistically and intellectually) to improve their dialogue with each other and with their anticipated Anglophone readership.
